Exercise Rehab - Back, Neck, and Extremity Injuries
I am here to help patients reach their goals as quickly as possible. Every patient has a functional goal, be that to return to normal daily activities or continue training for a thru-hike along the Appalachian Trail or a paddle on the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. Pain can be a limiting factor, preventing you from reaching your goals, so our goal is to reduce your pain by identifying and addressing the cause. Other times you may experience a decrease or change in function. For example, lifting a grandchild or working overhead may be a typical activity that you are now finding difficult. There may be several reasons for this new limitation and my goal is to identify the cause and address it.
Medical evidence has shown that the best management for patients with neuromusculoskeletal injures is for the patient to be actively involved in the treatment. I believe in this philosophy so much that I have the patient as actively involved in his or her own treatment. For you, this means increasing your function and getting you moving as much as possible and meeting your goals, be it a 15-minute daily walk or 15 mile run.
